Become a Partner of nYCET
Who should join:
We welcome social justice and service-based organizations of any size and from any region of the state to join the Table. We ask prospective organizations to commit to:
Building power with people of color, immigrants, poor, and working class people.
Integrating at least one form of civic engagement into their existing work (i.e. voter registration, electoral participation, issue advocacy, mutual aid).
Working respectfully and collaboratively with other NYCET partner organizations.
How to join:
To become a NYCET partner, an organization must first complete this form, after which a meeting will be scheduled to discuss partnership. NYCET partners are asked to pay annual dues which are determined on a sliding fee scale corresponding with the organization’s budget size.
Access to data, specifically the state voter file, and free or low-cost access to contact tools for door knocking, phone banking, text banking, community canvassing, and relational outreach.
One-on-one support, whether you need help troubleshooting a technical issue or a thought partner for planning a campaign.
Training on various organizing tactics, such as canvassing and phone banking, as well as training on technical skills to support the use of data and tools.
Opportunities for collaboration with other organizations by facilitating quarterly network-wide meetings and making connections between partners that work in similar regions or issue areas.
NYCET provides the following to partners:
Hear directly from our partners!
"The team's liveliness and extensive knowledge make the partnership feel limitless. I am extremely proud to have a resource just a phone call or email away, but also to have made some awesome friends along the way too."
-Dévon, Open Buffalo
"NYCET has been an invaluable thought partner in carrying out our civic engagement efforts, from intentional one-on-one conversations that help shape our strategies and planning, to trainings on voter technology and data."
-Lucky, Asian American Federation
"NYCET's partnership has helped us target our outreach in key neighborhoods and buildings where rent stabilized voters are concentrated, to maximize the impact of our efforts to build a united bloc of renters activated to 'vote like tenants' on issues of housing affordability."
-Naomi, Housing Justice For All
