NEW YORK CITY

New York City is home to our largest community of partner organizations. Our 30+ NYC-based partners work in Manhattan, Brooklyn, Queens, and the Bronx and represent the vast diversity of New York City. NYCET has provided coordination and support for redistricting, participatory budgeting, and local ballot initiatives in NYC. We work together to build power with communities of color, immigrants, and low-income New Yorkers. 

We do this in the following ways: 

• Increasing civic engagement through non-partisan voter registration, education, and mobilization

• Training and supporting a new generation of leaders and grassroots organizations

• Provide tools and resources that are essential to the day to day work of our partners

• Convene a cross section of grassroots groups to develop shared strategies for organizing
